We are looking for a team leader to comprehensively manage our fortnightly Sunday Source inclusive youth clubs for 12-18 year olds. As well as the administration duties associated with this role, the postholder will support a team to work creatively with self-motivation, collaboration and commitment to offer development opportunities to young people with disabilities and additional needs (including Autism) who are experiencing barriers to participation.
Salary: £30.673.50 pro rata (£15.73 ph.)
Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks pro rata for set non-contact hours. Variable delivery hours attract holiday pay added to wages on a quarterly basis.
Responsible to: Practice Manager
Hours of work: as per service delivery: Source (2 groups) runs on alternate Sundays throughout the year. Contact time with young people is variable. Includes 7 delivery hours on alternate Sundays, additional shifts during holiday periods (2 half day shifts per week), plus an additional 10 hours non-contact time per calendar month for service coordination, planning and resourcing.
Additional hours with other Parks for Play services available on request and by agreement.
Based at: Coronation Road Play Centre, Selly Oak and community settings.

We are looking for weekend, after school / end-of-day and holiday inclusive play workers on a casual basis. A ‘taster’ session before continuing to interview is part of our recruitment process.
This involves being part of a team to work creatively with self-motivation, collaboration and commitment to offer development opportunities to children experiencing barriers to participation.
Playwork is a particular approach to working with children and young people that places their right to play in self-determined ways at the centre of all policies and day to day service operations. When children and young people play there may be no obvious outcomes, but the process of playing will have generated rich experiences and encounters that provide the underpinnings for all memorable learning.
Salary £22,425 – £28,975 pro rata per annum. £11.50 to £14.85 per hour. Salary Scale in line experience and qualifications (training provided).
